MONCTON – A 60-year-old New Brunswick man has been charged with sex offences involving teenage girls following a six-month investigation by the RCMP.
Bharat Gadher was arrested Tuesday and appeared in Moncton provincial court Wednesday.
He has been charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of a young person.
Investigators say the victims are all females under the age of 18 and are from the Moncton area.
Police say Gadher was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear back in court on Nov. 23 for a bail hearing.
RCMP say the investigation is continuing and further charges are possible.
