The body was found in an alley in the 400 block of Hendon Drive N.W. at around 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Investigators said the death is considered suspicious.
It’s not clear how old the man was, but police hope to learn more on Tuesday after the completion of an autopsy.
Nearby residents told Global News the area is normally a quiet, though there had been a shooting earlier this month.
