Gunshot near school reported to Saskatoon police

SASKATOON – Police are investigating a reported gunshot in Saskatoon’s Mount Royal neighbourhood Monday. At 12 p.m. CT, officers were called to the area in the 2200-block of Rusholme Road.

The caller reported an altercation between two groups of people in two different vehicles and then heard a gunshot.

When officers arrived at the scene, the suspect vehicles had fled and no one was found to be injured. Police say the incident did not impact activities at a nearby school.
