SASKATOON – Here’s a look at what Saskatoon civic services and facilities are open and closed on Remembrance Day.
City Hall: Closed
Pay parking stations: No payment required but motorists are required to move their vehicles within the time period shown on meters.
Municipal impound lot: No vehicles will be released to the public.
Landfill: Open with regular winter hours – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Garbage/recycling collection: Takes place as scheduled.
Saskatoon Public Library locations: Closed.
Civic Conservatory: Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saskatoon Transit: Will operate on the regular Sunday/Holiday Service schedule.
There will be free bus transportation to and from the 2015 Remembrance Day ceremonies at the SaskTel Centre.
Transit service to the service will depart as follows:
- Downtown special events stop: buses depart every 15 minutes from 23rd Street and 2nd Avenue starting at 9 a.m. with the last bus leaving at 10:15 a.m.
- Market Mall – departure from the mall transit terminal at 9:45 a.m.
- The Centre Mall – departure from the mall transit terminal at 9:45 a.m.
Return trips will follow at approximately 12:15 p.m. after the ceremonies.
Access Transit: Operating on regular Holiday Service between 8:15 a.m. and 11 p.m. with trips having to be booked in advance as per normal procedures.
Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo: Park is open from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.; zoo open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Indoor arenas: Regular hours of operation
Cosmo Civic Centre: Closed
Fitness Circuit & Terry Fox Track: Closed
Lakewood Civic Centre
- Open from noon until 9 p.m.
- All fitness classes and child minding are cancelled
Lawson Civic Centre
- Open from noon until 5 p.m.
- All fitness classes are cancelled
Saskatoon Field House
- Open from noon until 5 p.m.
- All fitness classes and child minding are cancelled
- Holiday Zumba Class: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Shaw Centre
- Open from noon until 9 p.m.
- All fitness classes and child minding are cancelled
Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre
- Open from noon until 9 p.m.
- All fitness classes are cancelled
