HALIFAX – The second-degree murder trial of Paul Calnen is back in Halifax Supreme Court on Friday to hear the fourth day of testimony in the case against Calnen.
Calnen has been charged with second degree murder and committing an indignity to human remains in the 2013 death of his live-in girlfriend Reita Jordan.
He has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge, but guilty to committing an indignity to human remains.
Today, the court is expected to see a videotaped statement where Calnen admits to burning Jordan’s body.
On Thursday, the court saw a videotaped statement of Calnen before he had been arrested.
