SASKATOON – Another investigation into an armed robbery at a Saskatoon business is underway. The most recent one happened Wednesday around 10 p.m. CT.

Patrol officers were called to the store in the 100-block of Wedge Road for a robbery in progress involving a masked man armed with a handgun.

Before officers arrived, the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

A canine track failed to turn up the suspect.

Police are looking for a man between five-foot nine and five-foot eleven who was wearing a purple and white bandana over his face, a grey and plaid jacket and black pants. He was also carrying a black backpack.
