Celebrities ready for another Movember to remember on social media

With Halloween having passed and with Christmas still weeks away, we do still have a new-ish tradition to delight us throughout the long, cold, dark days of November.

Why yes … it’s Movember! A time when hipster beards give way to creepy moustaches – all for a worthy cause – to raise awareness and money for prostate cancer.

Movember kicked off in Australia in 2003 and has already raised more than $677 million in just a few short years.

A host of athletes have taken to social media to announce their participation including a few members of the Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Rangers netminder Henrik Lundqvist and New Jersey Devils forward Adam Henrique.

While it might be tough for women to fully participate, television star Emmy Rossum has gotten creative with her idea on how to support the boys in their cause.
