A Philadelphia, Penn. man is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being robbed and tasered on a subway platform Sunday.
Surveillance footage from the scene shows the unidentified victim sleeping inside a train and a couple waiting for the subway doors to open. When it does, the alleged suspects grab the man’s bag and run onto the platform.
The video then shows the man chasing after the pair and struggling to get his bag back. That’s when the female suspect takes out a taser and uses it against the victim who falls onto the tracks.
According to WCAU News, the man was able to get up and call for help.
Police are hoping by releasing the footage the two suspects will be identified.
It’s believed the suspects are between the ages of 20 and 25.
