STANDING BUFFALO FIRST NATION, Sask. – STARS Air Ambulance flew a man to hospital after the car he was in crashed early Saturday morning.
The Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision involving two people on the Standing Buffalo First Nation.
A 39-year-old passenger needed to be transported by STARS to hospital, but he is reported to be recovering from his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man from the Standing Buffalo First Nation has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident where someone was injured, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing injury and driving while suspended.
Speed and alcohol are believed to have contributed to the collision.
