REGINA – An Estevan man is facing charges after he was arrested Wednesday for luring a girl using the internet.
An investigation by Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) – as well as RCMP and Estevan Police – resulted in a search warrant for an Estevan home.
Police arrested 31-year-old Russ Howard Goforth after he went to a location to meet a girl under the age of 14 that he met on the internet.
Police seized numerous computers and storage devices during the search.
Goforth is currently charged with Child Luring but could face additional charges. He made his first court appearance on Thursday morning.
