A man who allegedly shot at Mounties in Saskatchewan is facing 11 charges, including attempted murder. Mario Whitehead, 24, was charged following an assault investigation Saturday on the Red Earth First Nation.
Police were initially called to a residence on the reserve after receiving a report of an assault.
The investigation led to a second residence where Mounties say they encountered a man armed with a long-barreled weapon. Mounties said the man shot at a police vehicle and an officer returned fire.
