“Overpasses at White City and Balgonie will be open to traffic in just two years, and the reduced, more consistent speed limit will help to ensure motorists and construction crews are as safe as possible during the busy construction period,” Highways and Infrastructure Minister Nancy Heppner said.

The speed reduction will coincide with other safety measures being rolled out east of Regina in advance of the Bypass project.

The speed limit has also been reduced to 80 km/hr on Highway 46 at Pilot Butte. The speed reduction begins 500 meters west of the Pilot Butte Access and ends 500 meters east of Butte Street.
