Just a day earlier, Mounties handed out a $482 ticket to a 34-year-old man for driving 92 kilometres an hour in the same location.

The speed limit is 60 kilometres an hour when passing work crews on highways.

Within the same hour Tuesday, two other drivers were handed out warnings for speeding in a construction zone along the same stretch of highway.

Officers are reminding drivers that construction season hasn’t ended and are asking drivers to be extra vigilant around workers on highways.
