Hilltops down Wildcats 41-17, clinch first place

The Saskatoon Hilltops clinched top spot in the Prairie Football Conference (PFC) after downing the Edmonton Wildcats 41-17 on Sunday. Evan Kopchynski led the Hilltops with a pair of touchdown catches.

The Hilltops defence shut down the Wildcats in the second half, not giving up a point as they improved to 7-0 on the season.

The regular season wraps up Oct. 11 when the Calgary Colts travel to Saskatoon to take on the Hilltops in what could be a semi-final preview.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m CT at the Saskatoon Minor Football Field.
