TORONTO – It’s rare to meet a childhood idol but that’s exactly what happened to Frank Ieraci at a wedding reception in Toronto.
The 33-year-old had one of his biggest dreams come true when he performed with Canadian rap icon Maestro during his best friend’s wedding.
The meeting was set up by Ieraci’s wife Shannon who says Maestro was her husband’s childhood idol.
At the wedding, Maestro surprised Ieraci during his rendition of “Let your backbone slide”, a song by Maestro which was a chart-topper back in 1989.
Ieraci has performed the track several times at different weddings, including his own in 2007.
The entire event was captured on video and posted on Youtube.
In the first few days the video has got over 60-thousand views.
