CFCR’s FM-phasis winding down

SASKATOON – It’s the last week for the FM-phasis drive for the community-run CFCR radio. Saskatoon’s only volunteer powered radio station is wrapping up its “off the charts” campaign.

The goal is to raise $70,000 for the non-profit organization.

Station manager Neil Bergen said it’s all about giving back to the community and for those who make a contribution, there is the chance at winning a prize.

“We have a bunch of grand prizes from some great sponsors,” said Bergen. “We have lots of CFCR swag, we have shirts, we have hats, depending on what you donate.”

Oct. 2 is the last day of the FM-phasis fundraising campaign. Any money pledged needs to be remitted by the end of October
