CSST investigates after two fatal workplace accidents

BOUCHERVILLE – The CSST is investigating after two men were killed in separate workplace accidents in the South Shore.

Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. in Boucherville, a 42-year-old man died and another worker was seriously injured when a platform they were working on broke and collapsed.

They plunged five floors to the ground.

Earlier in the day, a man in his 50’s died when he fell off a platform at Béton Provincial, a concrete company.

The CSST is looking into both incidents.
