Missing dementia patient found safe and sound

UPDATE: Calgary police said on Monday that Keyes had been found safe and sound.

CALGARY – The Calgary Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a woman with severe dementia who went missing from the Peter Lougheed Hospital.

Cleo Arlene Keyes, 68, was last seen at the hospital at around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police say she suffers from severe dementia and is known to frequent Sunridge Mall, downtown and the community of Woodlands.

She is described as:

  • A between 5’5” and 6’6” tall
  • About 120 lbs, with a slim build
  • Long grey hair
  • Wearing a grey turtleneck sweater and glasses

Anyone who sees Keyes is asked to call 911 immediately.
