EDMONTON – RCMP are searching for a man believed to be carrying a hunting rifle who was involved in a collision in northwestern Alberta.
Police said the man left the scene of a crash near Two Creeks, Alta. around noon Thursday. The two-vehicle collision involved a truck and a horse trailer.
Before police arrived on scene, the man fled the scene carrying a hunting rifle.

Witnesses said he first went into the bushes for a few minutes before getting into a vehicle waiting at the side of the road.
The Caucasian man was reportedly last seen in a newer, white hatchback car with a black oval or circle decal on the hatch travelling north on Highway 43, south of Fox Creek.
The RCMP are searching for the man who is about 5’11”, who was last seen wearing blue jeans, a camouflage jacket and a white bandana over his face.
Police are asking the public not to approach the vehicle.
“Call police, ” said Insp. Gibson Glavin. “We are out there in great numbers.”
He said it is legal to have a hunting rifle in a vehicle as long as it is properly stored.
Two Creeks is 230 kilometres northwest of Edmonton.
