The man was confronted and ran off in the area of Lost Lagoon.
Officers, along with the K9 Unit, the VPD Mounted Unit, Park Rangers and park staff were all looking for the man.
He has been described as white, approximately 5-foot-8 with a slim build. He was wearing a green and black camouflage hoodie, green pants, an orange and yellow construction vest and white sunglasses or goggles on his head.
