One dead after rollover on Sask. First Nation

RED PHEASANT FIRST NATION, Sask. – A woman is dead following a rollover on a Saskatchewan First Nation. It happened Monday evening on the Red Pheasant First Nation when a minivan rolled on the main grid road.

The driver, a 30-year-old woman from the Mosquito First Nation, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

Witnesses told police that a passenger in the minivan left before they arrived. Mounties located the man at a residence on the Red Pheasant First Nation. There is no word on any injuries.

North Battleford RCMP along with a traffic reconstructionist from Prince Albert continue to investigate the cause of the rollover.
