TAPPEN — A trio of men from Tappen just north of Salmon Arm, are facing numerous charges after the RCMP seized over $770,000 in illicit drugs and stolen property.
Last Saturday, a stolen F350 from Blind Bay was spotted towing a trailer with a stolen Harley Davidson on the Trans Canada Highway by Chase.
The truck was tracked to a rural residence in Tappen where police arrested the driver, but two others got away on foot into nearby woods.
They were both located and arrested a short time later.
A search of the property located a marijuana grow operation, a prohibited weapon, a stolen ATV from Alberta, a 2011 Kenworth logging truck taken from 100-Mile House and over $420,000 in drugs.
The 41, 32 and 30 year old men all face charges of possession and trafficking, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and several weapons offences.
