Official complaint filed after Coderre destroys cement slab: reports

MONTREAL – There are reports that an official complaint has been filed with Montreal police against Mayor Denis Coderre.

The complaint stems from Coderre’s public demolition of a Canada Post cement slab that was meant for a community mailbox in Pierrefonds-Roxboro.

It will be up to police officials to determine if it will be considered vandalism.

Authorities did not confirm if a complaint was made, saying it is against their policy to talk about a confidential complaint.
