EDMONTON – Homicide detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man found on a street in central Edmonton’s Alberta Avenue neighbourhood.
Around 3:30 Monday morning police received a call from someone claiming a man was lying on 95 Street, between 117 and 118 Avenues. Officers arrived on scene to find a man, believed to be in his 20s, lying dead on the road.
Autopsy for man involved in suspicious death on 95 St/ 118 Ave #yeg will be conducted Tuesday at 9am. Results to come when complete.

The cause of death is not yet known. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Because of the investigation, 95 Street was blocked off between 115 and 118 Avenue for several hours.
