It was an early morning wake-up call for people living in the Fraser Valley.
Many residents in the areas around Mission and Abbotsford reported waking up to shaking just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 2.6-magnitude quake hit 5 kilometres east of Mission.
There are no reports of any damage.
It’s the second time in two days a tremor was felt in parts of the Fraser Valley.
A 2.4-magnitude temblor rattled an area just east of Mission and north of Abbotsford around 7 p.m. Thursday. There were no reports of injuries or damage from that earthquake.
