An Air Canada jet carrying 121 passengers heading to Toronto was forced to make an emergency landing Thursday in Winnipeg.
Air traffic control staff were notified around 11:50 a.m. by the pilot of flight no. 122 that he was having left engine trouble, according to Chrstine Alongi, a spokeswoman with the
Winnipeg Airports Authority.
