FOREMOST, Alta. – Two people have died in a southern Alberta highway collision involving a car and some heavy farming equipment.
RCMP from Bow Island say a 72-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were killed when their car hit a swather that was protruding into the lane.

The driver of the swather was treated for minor injuries.
Police continue to investigate.
