MONTREAL – Justin Bieber took to twitter Saturday morning to announce that he was cancelling his Saturday afternoon appearance at the Beachclub in Pointe-Calumet due to breach of contract by the event’s promoter, Team Production.

The Beachclub for its part issued a statement on its Facebook page stressing that Justin Bieber and the club were in no way responsible for the cancellation of Saturday’s event.

The club also offered full refunds for the thousands of fans who had already purchased tickets and offered free admission to DJ MAKJ sets all day long.

Celebrities making an appearance at the Beachclub reportedly receive between $100, 000 to $200,000.
