Armed man robs Sutherland business

SASKATOON – The search is on for a man who allegedly robbed a Saskatoon business. Police say the robbery happened Tuesday around 10 p.m. at the business in the 1100-block of Central Avenue in the Sutherland neighbourhood.

According to the police report, a man armed with a knife, his face covered by a handkerchief, demanded money. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A canine unit was unsuccessful in tracking the man.

Police are looking for a Caucasian man, around five-foot eight with a slim build and dressed in black.
