Home invasion in Montreal North injures one

MONTREAL – Police are investigating a home invasion in Montreal North Wednesday night.

At around 10:40 p.m., officers answered a 911 call about two suspects carrying a pellet gun who entered an apartment on Marie-Victorin Street near Roland Boulevard.

“They entered an apartment on the second floor of a duplex from the back door,” said André Leclerc with Montreal police.

“After assaulting the victim, the two suspects stole personal objects and fled.”

The victim, who is in his 20s, suffered light injuries.

Police are searching for two suspects.

The first is a French speaking black male, 6″2, wearing black clothes, a black hood over his face and carrying a pellet gun.

The second is a French speaking white male, 6″, with black clothes, a black baseball cap, a black scarf and a backpack.

The K9 unit is investigating, but no suspects have been arrested.
