Three arrested after stolen van crashes in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Three people are in custody and police are looking for a fourth suspect after a stolen van crashed Wednesday morning in Saskatoon. The crash happened in the 3500-block of Centennial Drive.

Witnesses told police a number of people fled the van after it crashed into a sign post on the centre median.

A police service dog was deployed and three men were arrested a short time later.

The two 18-year-olds and a 20-year-old are facing possession of stolen property charges.

Police are looking for a female suspect who was last seen running westbound on Centennial Drive. She is described as aboriginal, heavy-set, with long dark hair to the middle of her back.

Police say no one was injured in the crash.
