Summary: Conservative MP Brad Butt was elected here in 2011, breaking a streak of three straight Liberal victories. He is seeking re-election, and the boundary changes here should work in his favour, as they bring more people who supported the Conservatives in 2011 into this riding.
Boundaries: Meadowvale Village, formerly included in Mississauga-Brampton South, has joined this riding, while a small portion of this riding has moved into the new riding of Mississauga-Malton.
Last Election: In 2011, Conservative Butt defeated Liberal MP Bonnie Crombie by a margin of 6.8 per cent. Had these new boundaries been in effect, the Conservatives would have won by a margin of 11 per cent.
