Summary: The smallest of B.C.’s ridings outside of the Vancouver and Victoria areas, Kelowna-Lake Country has elected right-wing candidates since 1993. Conservative incumbent Ron Cannan has held this seat since 2006 and is seeking re-election.
The original Green Party candidate in this riding, Gary Adams, was removed by the party after he endorsed the Liberals.

Boundaries: Contains all parts of Kelowna outside the Mission neighbourhood and the downtown core south of Highway 97. Also includes the smaller municipalities of Lake Country and Oyama to Kelowna’s north
Last Election: Conservative Cannan defeated NDP challenger Patricia Kalmanovitch by over 21,000 votes.
History: Ever since Kelowna became the centre of its own riding prior to the 1988 election, the district has elected conservative candidates.
