BEAVERDELL – Wildfire crews are dealing with a smoldering ground fire burning ten kilometers northwest of Beaverdell.
The 1.2 hectare blaze was first discovered Monday afternoon. It is not contained, but not threatening any buildings or homes.

The B.C. Wildfire Service has an initial attack crew, a helicopter and air tankers responding to the blaze near the Carmi Forest Service Road.
The cause is still under investigation.
