REGINA – An 18-year-old woman is facing charges after the vehicle she was driving crashed into a building on Dewdey Avenue around 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, a vehicle was allegedly speeding eastbound on Dewdney Avenue at Albert Street before losing control and crashing into a building.

The driver was not hurt and the passenger is recovering from minor injuries. The area was closed to traffic Saturday evening.

Miranda Schmidt of Regina has been charged with dangerous driving causing bodily harm. She’ll make her first court appearance on Wednesday.
