Armed suspect flees Saskatoon convenience store with cash, cigarettes

SASKATOON – Police are on the lookout for a suspect after an armed robbery in Saskatooon’s Erindale neighbourhood Tuesday. At around 1:30 a.m., a masked man reportedly entered a convenience store in the 400-block of Kenderdine Road.

The suspect used a dark blue scarf to cover his face and threatened the employee with a knife. He fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes and a portable phone.

Police say no one was injured.

The suspect is described as Caucasian and around six-foot in height. He was last seen wearing a grey track suit.
