MONCTON – Saint John Police are investigating an early morning armed robbery of a taxi driver in the city’s north end.
Police say the robbery happened around 3:35 a.m., after two men were picked up on Clarendon Street.

They produced a weapon and demanded money from the driver. They received an undisclosed amount of cash and ran away.
Both suspects are in their early twenties and clean shaven. One man was approximately five-foot-eight, and wearing a dark jacket, while the second man was slightly shorter.

The driver was not injured.
