EDMONTON — A 39-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in north Edmonton in late July.
Edmonton police were called to the intersection of 97 Street and 135 Avenue around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 25.
Police said the man was crossing the road against a red light when he was struck by a Toyota Camry. Police believe the pedestrian may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time.
Charges have not been laid against the driver of the Camry.
This is Edmonton’s 20th traffic fatality of 2015.
