RCMP is asking for help finding a suspect allegedly involved in an assault on a security guard in Surrey on June 25.
Mounties were called to a robbery outside an apartment building in the 10500-block of 132 Street at about 2 a.m. when they found an injured security guard.

The security guard told police he was approached by a light-skinned black male, who asked to use his flashlight to help him find his keys. Once the guard handed over his flashlight, the suspect then used it to assault and rob the guard.
The guard had his wallet and cell phone stolen and was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Surrey RCMP’s Robbery Unit is investigating the incident.
