TORONTO – The hazmat team was called overnight after a chemical spill at a downtown Toronto laboratory.
It happened on the 11th floor of a highrise near Bay and Gerrard.

Police say a laboratory worker had called 911 after becoming exposed to and poisoned by some sort of chemical in a research lab.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in serious condition.
Police say the area has been contained and there is no risk to the pubic.
The Ministry of Labour has been called to investigate.
