Veteran kicker Paul McCallum returns to Saskatchewan Roughriders

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Wednesday that the team has signed veteran CFL kicker Paul McCallum.

McCallum, 45, and a veteran of 22 CFL seasons, has spent the better part of the last decade playing (and setting records) for the B.C. Lions but previously spent 12 seasons with the Riders.

In 2004, he famously missed an 18-yard field goal attempt that would have sent the Riders to the Grey Cup.

Last season McCallum was 38/42 in field goal attempts in 18 regular-season games for the Lions and was named a West Division All Star.
