CALGARY – Calgary police are asking for help in identifying two suspects believed responsible for a series of break and enters at tanning salons.
Police say since February 24, there have been 14 break and enters across Calgary and one in Strathmore, just east of the city.
Nine of the businesses targeted are Fabutan Tanning Salons.
In all cases the offenders used a large rock or ax to smash the front glass doors after-hours when the salons were closed.
Police say high-end tanning products valued at more than $28,000 have been stolen.
The first suspect is described as male, wearing glasses, a hoodie and gloves. He has a goatee and often wears a balaclava.
The second suspect is a male with a dark hoodie and gloves, also with a balaclava covering his face.

Police say the suspects carry large duffel bags or large plastic containers.
The suspects may be driving a dark SUV or vehicle with a hatchback.
Anyone with any information about the break and enters is asked to call police at 403-266-1234, or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
