HALIFAX – Halifax police say a 29-year-old man faces a charge of attempted murder in connection with a stabbing last month.
Police say they responded to a report of a stabbing on the 2000 block of Gottingen Street on May 21st.
Officers found a 28-year-old man who had been stabbed and who was trying to get to a home nearby.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect was arrested without incident yesterday at a residence on Lakefront Drive in Dartmouth.
The man faces charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
