SASKATOON – A man is in critical condition and Saskatoon police are questioning two people after a shooting at a retail parking lot. The shooting took place just before noon-hour in the Giant Tiger parking lot at the corner of 22nd Street West and Avenue F.

The two persons of interest were detained shortly after the shooting at a nearby residence. Police say they matched the descriptions of the suspects provided by witnesses.

The victim, a 27-year-old man, remains in critical condition at a Saskatoon hospital. He was driven to St. Paul’s Hospital after the shooting with life-threatening injuries.
