WATCH ABOVE: A woman is dead after she was hit by a STL bus as she attempted to cross the street.
MONTREAL – A 42-year-old woman was killed Sunday morning after she was hit by a Société de transport de Laval (STL) bus, as she was crossing the street.
The accident happened at 9:20 a.m. at the corner of St-Michel and Henri-Bourassa boulevards in Montreal-Nord.

The bus was heading north on St-Michel and attempting to turn left onto Henri-Bourassa when the pedestrian was struck and killed.
The woman has yet to be identified.
The bus driver was taken to hospital to be treated for shock.
Montreal police spokesperson Anie Lemieux told Global News that investigators are on the scene and that the intersection remains closed to traffic.
