WINNIPEG – A 50-year-old woman is dead after her vehicle and a semi-trailer truck crashed north of Winnipeg Wednesday.
The St. Andrews woman was driving north on Highway 9 at about 10:20 p.m. when her vehicle collided with a semi headed east on Netley Road, Manitoba RCMP said. Netley Road is in the rural municipality of St. Andrews between Petersfield and Matlock, about 60 kilometres north of Winnipeg.

The woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was wearing her seatbelt.
RCMP are investigating the crash.

Northbound lanes of Highway 9 was closed for about six hours.
