REGINA – A luxury Saskatchewan jeweller has announced an expansion plan that includes a Saskatoon store. Regina-based Hillberg & Berk said Tuesday it is expanding to three locations, including Saskatoon’s Midtown Plaza.
The other two locations – sparkle bars – will be at West Edmonton Mall and Kingsway Mall, also in Edmonton.
“We are excited to be expanding so aggressively and creating so many jobs during a slower economic period,” said Rachel Mielke, CEO and founder of the company.
Mielke said the expansion will create up to 75 new jobs over the next 12 months.
Company officials said the new build-outs will “exude a luxurious, contemporary and customer-centric shopping experience, while carefully preserving the integrity of its offering.
