With the return of warm and sunny days, the number of motorcycles on the roads increases.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is encouraging all drivers, and especially bikers to be extra vigilant.

Motorcyclists are the most vulnerable on the roads; they are less visible and have little to no protection in case of a crash.

In 2014, motorcyclists were involved in 12 per cent of all deadly collisions on Quebec roads patrolled by the SQ, for a total of 27 fatalities.
