CALGARY – Four people were injured in a serious crash northwest of Calgary on Monday.

Emergency crews were called to a collision between a truck and a car in the intersection of Lochend Road and Township Road 262 around 9:45 p.m.

There were two occupants inside each vehicle, all of whom were taken to the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.

Emergency crews extricated a 16-year-old girl from the car. She was transported to hospital in serious condition. An 18-year-old inside the car was also rushed to hospital in stable condition.

Meanwhile, a 28-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man from the truck were taken to hospital in stable condition.
