Alberta Election 2015: PC’s Mike Ellis wins Calgary-West riding

Incumbent Mike Ellis has won the riding of Calgary-West for the Progressive Conservatives.

The PC’s Ken Hughes resigned the seat in September 2014. In a close race, Ellis won the October 2014 by-election, defeating the Wildrose.

The riding is one of two of Calgary’s original ridings from 1959. 

Candidates:

  • Progressive Conservative: Mike Ellis (Incumbent) 
  • Wildrose: Gerard Lucyshyn
  • NDP: Mizanur Rahman
